About this mod
In the base game every police car is a guaranteed speeding fine. This mod reflects how it works in much of Europe: police patrols are fairly tolerant of trucks a little over the limit, so the chance of a patrol fining you drops to about 2 to 10 percent. Speed cameras still record every violation, just like in the base game.
Fine amounts are set to roughly the European average and no longer depend on your level or how many police cars are nearby. Accident fines become a symbolic 10 euros, since AI drivers often cause crashes and you already pay for the repairs. It's a small mod aimed at roleplay-minded players.
Features
- Patrol speeding fines become rare (about 2 to 10% chance)
- Speed cameras unchanged: still 100%
- Realistic fine amounts based on European averages
- Accident fines reduced to 10 euros
